Why do I need a Demineralizing Treatment?

Hair damage from hard water happens over time from mineral build-up. Minerals like calcium, iron and magnesium, build up on the hair making it brittle, hard to curl, lifeless and dull. In areas with hard water, hair will take on different colors like brassy orange or even green. A demineralizing treatment eliminates mineral buildup on hair from hard water quickly and easily.

What is the difference between salon hair color and color I buy at the drugstore?

When you go to the store and buy a box color you get exactly that, a color out of a box that is generic and made for anyone. The ingredients in box colors tend to be more damaging because it is formulated to work on almost any hair type and uses higher concentrations of dye and developer. Box color also tends to look flat because it uses only one color dye.
At Radura our stylists personally customize your color every time you come in based on your goals, hair type, level of damage and pigment of your hair.

Can’t I just get a trim?

There is no difference between a trim and a haircut. A “trim” removes one quarter inch and takes just as long as a haircut that removes ten inches. Sometimes it takes longer, because of the precision involved in cutting a tiny amount all around.
